Meet Our Spruce Grove Chiropractors

Dr. Lucas Bach, D.C.

Dr. Lucas Bach leads our Spruce Grove chiropractic clinic. Dr. Bach understands firsthand how chiropractic can improve quality of life and is driven to help people live healthily.

You’ll find us on the east side of Spruce Grove, off of Pioneer Rd just south of Grove Dr W. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, there’s ample parking in the plaza we share with Sangam Indian Cuisine and Pioneer Place Shopping Mall.

Dr. Lucas Bach was born and raised in Manitouwadge, Ontario, a town located a few hours northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. He moved to Thunder Bay at 17 and began his undergraduate degree at Lakehead University in the field of human biology. Two years into the program, Dr. Bach started a job as a chiropractic assistant.

As an assistant, he began to see many people were being positively affected by the treatments and how their lives were being changed for the better. He started to see how great the profession was and now understood how computerized treatment was improving peoples’ lives and health, including his own.

Shortly thereafter, it became a goal and passion of his to become a doctor and help people live healthily. After graduating from University, he moved down to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he began and completed the four year program.

During his internships at Northwestern Health Sciences University, he worked with many excellent doctors, including the former practitioner for the Minnesota Vikings football team.

He initially began practicing in Thunder Bay before deciding to move to the city of Edmonton, and he has now been in practice for five years.

As a chiropractic practitioner in Alberta, Dr. Bach strives to help people obtain and maintain optimal health naturally through wellness care treatments, nutrition, and exercise, so they can continue to do the things they enjoy most in life.

“Been under care of Dr. Bach for couple of years and my lower back went from 3 serious episodes a year to zero!!!!”

Common Questions About Chiropractic (FAQ)

Our computerized treatments are safe, gentle and comfortable. It is possible for there to be mild pain when we work with arthritic joints, fibromyalgia cases, and acute injuries. Generally, even if you are in severe pain when you come to our clinics, you can still receive our treatments.

When we are dealing with scar tissue and old injuries; the treatments involve the breaking down of unhealthy tissues, so the body may feel slight discomfort. If your chiropractor thinks your treatment will be painful, we will let you know before we start.

A typical chiropractic care program lasts between 12 to 16 weeks. After the initial corrective phase of care, we provide the option of maintenance care to stabilize and preserve the health of the spine.

Our ideal relationship with our clients lasts years as they choose us to be part of their healthcare team as are their family doctor, dentist, optometrist and personal trainer.

No. There aren’t strict guidelines on who needs x-rays and who does not.

However, we tend to x-ray the majority of the time, as it allows us to get an in-depth understanding of your spine and provide great personalized care for you. There are certain patients who are not able to get x-rays (like pregnant patients).

Chiropractors can treat a wide variety of pain and conditions, such as low back pain, migraines, sciatica, scoliosis, TMJ, etc. Chiropractic is also a great solution for general health and wellness.
