Meet Our Signal Hill Chiropractor

Dr. Baltej Parhar, B.Sc., D.C.

A born and raised Calgarian, Dr. Baltej Parhar leads our West Calgary chiropractic clinic. His passion for helping people manage pain and injuries began during his studies at the University of Calgary.

Located right off of Sarcee Trail SW, take the first turn off Richmond Rd SW and you’ll find us in an open plaza with lots of parking, in the unit where Richmond Chiro and Wellness Centre used to be.

Dr. Parhar was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He has always had a passion for health and fitness growing up, playing on various sports teams, including a competitive dance team. Through these experiences, he learned the importance of physical health and managing injuries.

He attended the University of Calgary and pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. It was during this time that he decided to make a career out of helping people manage their pain and injuries. However, he was not a fan of the medical approach to pain, which often involves masking symptoms with drugs or surgery.

This led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Toronto, ON. After graduating in 2019, he took extra training courses to expand his knowledge and skill set. After a few years in practice, he joined the Divine Spine team. He liked that the treatment approach using the Sigma technology is gentle and safe for people of all ages and conditions. He also found that adjusting with an instrument allows for more precise targeting of areas that can cause headaches and jaw pain.

Outside of clinical hours, Dr. Parhar enjoys staying active and spending quality time with his wife and loved ones. Some of his favorite activities include traveling, hiking, playing basketball and weight lifting.
